Guests will be treated to an online presentation that will explore the development of Russian science, the activities of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the contributions of outstanding scientists—from Mikhail Lomonosov to contemporary researchers. A separate section will be dedicated to the life and scientific legacy of Dmitri Mendeleev, a polymath whose work encompassed chemistry, physics, metrology, economics, geology, meteorology, pedagogy, aeronautics, and instrumentation.
During the event, a book exhibition will be open for anyone interested in the history of science and the biographies of Russian scientists.
