BANGKOK, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) — The Phumchaithai Party (Pride of Thailand) has emerged as the largest party in the House of Representatives (lower house of parliament), according to preliminary results released by Thailand's Election Commission on Monday.
With 94 percent of the votes now counted, the Phumchaithai Party won 193 seats, while the People's Party and the Phua Thai Party (For Thais) came in second and third with 118 and 74 seats, respectively. –0–
