LISBON, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) — Portugal's center-left Socialist Party candidate Antonio José Seguro on Sunday declared victory in the second round of the presidential election.

According to data published by the Portuguese Ministry of Internal Affairs after processing approximately 99% of the ballots, A.J. Seguro received 66.7% of the votes, while André Ventura, leader of the far-right Enough! party, received 33.3%. Ventura conceded defeat.

According to a statement published on the presidential administration's website, outgoing President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will receive A.J. Segura at the Belém Palace on Monday. He also wished A.J.
