JINAN, February 9 (Xinhua) — An accident at a gold mine in eastern China's Shandong Province on February 7 has killed seven people, local authorities said Monday.

According to the Zhaoyuan City Emergency Management Department, the mine hoist collapse incident at the Canzhuang Mine occurred at 8:50 a.m. on February 7, killing seven people.
