Pyongyang, February 8 (Xinhua) — The 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) will be held in late February in the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Sunday.
According to KCNA, the decision was made unanimously on Saturday at a meeting of the Politburo of the WPK Central Committee, which was chaired by WPK General Secretary Kim Jong-un.
According to the report, the Politburo of the WPK Central Committee made a decision on key agenda items concerning the upcoming congress.
