Warsaw, February 6 (Xinhua) — The U.S. Embassy will no longer have "any dealings" with Marshal of the Polish Sejm (speaker of the lower house of parliament) Włodzimierz Czażasty, who criticized U.S. President Donald Trump. This was announced on Thursday by U.S. Ambassador to Warsaw Tom Rose.

The diplomat said the decision followed V. Chazhasty's "outrageous and unprovoked insults" against the White House chief. "We will not allow anyone to harm US-Polish relations or show disrespect [to D. Trump]…," he wrote on the social media site X.

On Monday, V. Chazhasty stated that he would not support the proposal to award D. Trump the Nobel Peace Prize, because “he does not deserve it.”

V. Chazhasty criticized D. Trump for threatening to annex Greenland and impose tariffs on European countries, noting that such actions are “a violation of policies based on principles and values, and often a violation of international law.”

In response to T. Rose's comments, V. Chazhasty told the Polish news site Onet that he had not changed his position. –0–
