Paris, February 6 (Xinhua) — At least six people, including a child, sustained minor injuries in a grenade explosion that occurred Friday afternoon at a beauty salon in the southeastern French city of Grenoble, local media reported.

According to the French newspaper Actu Grenoble, two suspects allegedly entered the car, threw a grenade inside, and fled the scene. Eyewitnesses reported hearing screams, followed by a powerful explosion.

It was reported that six people with minor injuries, including a five-year-old child, were treated by firefighters, but they did not require hospitalization.

Emergency services and police were dispatched to the scene in large numbers. Criminal Investigation Department officers have begun investigating the incident.
