BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, responded on Thursday to Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) General Secretary and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, designating 2026 as the China-Laos Friendship Year.
