Tehran, February 5 (Xinhua) — Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has seized two vessels involved in organized fuel smuggling in the Persian Gulf, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Thursday.
Authorities said more than 1 million liters of contraband fuel were found on board the detained vessels. Fifteen foreign crew members were detained and handed over to the courts for criminal prosecution, the statement said.
