Starting February 7, the capital will add 10 stops for 20 routes and reroute three buses and electric buses. Now, public transport will run more frequently and be closer to new residential complexes and rail stations.
"On February 7, we will adjust 23 routes in various districts of the capital. Buses and electric buses will run more frequently on some of them, while others will have new stops. This will allow residents of large residential areas and visitors to social institutions to quickly and easily reach the nearest rail stations. At the direction of Sergei Sobyanin, we are improving the ground transportation network to make passenger travel even more comfortable," said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
Thus, social routes C511 and C811 will become district routes No. 511 and 811. The former will start at a large residential complex on Bochkova Street. This will provide residents with a direct route to the city center and the Big Circle Line metro line. Route No. 811 will be extended to Nagatinskaya metro station.
Buses #934 will now run along Universitetsky Prospekt instead of Lomonosovsky and Leninsky Prospekts. This will create a regular route for local residents to the Sokolnicheskaya metro line.
Three new stops will be created for five routes. For example, the "Volovya Street" stop will be open for route #74 in both directions, and the "Alleya Zhemchugovoy" stop will be open for routes #208 and #408 in both directions. Buses will also be able to depart from the "Bolshaya Filevskaya Street" stop on Novozavodskaya Street for routes #366 and #369 in both directions.
In addition, seven new stops will be created for 15 Moscow routes, as well as suburban routes of the "Moscow-Region" project. Specifically, a stop called "Ulitsa Nizhniye Mnevniki" will be added on the main route M23. Buses will stop at the same location as buses #389 and #391, upon request.
A stop will be added to the M77 main route at exit 5 of the Tekstilshchiki metro station. It will be in the same location as buses B, T27, and T38.
For routes #680 and #680k, a stop will be created at “3rd Grazhdanskaya Street,” and for route C23, a stop will be created at exit #2 of the Begovaya metro station.
A stop at "Ulitsa 9 Maya, 4a" in Khimki will be added for commuter routes #1154, 1342k, 1480, and 1532. It will operate on an on-demand basis.
Commuter routes #1342k and #1480 will also feature a "Shkola" stop on Kommunalny Proezd in Khimki. It will operate on-demand.
In addition, stops in East Degunino will change for routes No. 149, 170, 466, 477, 499 and 677.
The location of stops for city and suburban routes at the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station will also change.
