"It's important for us to provide young people with convenient and modern tools to realize their potential. These spaces are designed as hubs where they can work on their ideas for free, find a team, and make their dreams come true," noted Margarita Savinkina, head of the "Youth of Moscow" project.
Record podcasts or video content, conduct master classes and lectures
Each venue is equipped with the necessary technology and comfortable furniture, designed for flexible use, and located near metro stations. It can be used for workshops and lectures, interest club meetings, podcasts or video recording, and stage rehearsals.
The multi-format space "Youth of Moscow. Star" (14 Vernadsky Prospekt) offers eight spaces offering a variety of services. In the design and customization studio, guests can create unique clothing and accessories. Using a printer and heat press, inscriptions, patterns, and other images can be applied to items. There's also a fully equipped recording studio for music production and vocal recording.
The space also features a 3D printing and modeling studio, featuring printers for single-color, photopolymer, and four-color printing. This service is frequently used by students in creative fields and technical universities.
For example, Anastasia Babikova is a second-year student at A.N. Kosygin Russian State University, majoring in Bionic Design. She notes that this platform has been a real help to her.
"Since we often make 3D models in my program, I really want to print them and see how they'll look in real life. I can't always use a printer at the university, but I discovered the "Youth of Moscow" space and now I can easily sign up, come in, and work for fun," Anastasia said.
Conduct rehearsals and use sewing machines
The first creative residency, "Youth of Moscow. Motherland," is located at 5 Izmailovsky Val Street. It features an art and design studio, where guests can use sewing machines, easels, and other creative materials. A studio is available for rent to record a song, podcast, or voiceover. The space is well-insulated and equipped with the necessary equipment. Rehearsals are also frequently held there in the large practice room. For example, the dance team "Youth of Moscow" uses this space weekly for rehearsals.
One of the team's dancers is Seymur Kishiev, a fourth-year student majoring in Information Security at Moscow Polytechnic University. He learned about the project at the "Youth of Moscow" summer creative camp. Now, along with other participants, he uses the gym for group training sessions and also books it himself.
According to him, everything is provided for a comfortable training experience. It's a comfortable gym, with a always-clean locker room, coolers, and large mirrors. Anyone can book the gym, so those interested can practice for free or simply improve their skills.
The very first multi-format space, "Youth of Moscow," opened in November 2022 at 3 Kholodilny Lane, Building 1, Bldg. 8. It frequently hosts events in a hall accommodating up to 100 people. A meeting room with a large screen and table is also available for reservation. The space's main feature is its culinary studio.
