In anticipation of the Chinese Lunar New Year, the National Museum of China, with the support of the Gansu Provincial Museum, the Gansu Provincial Bamboo and Woodblock Museum, the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum (founder of the Qin Dynasty, 259-206 BC), the Shaanxi Archaeological Research Institute (Shaanxi Museum of Archaeology), the Qingzhou City Museum (Shandong Province), and the Mianyang City Museum (Sichuan Province), presents "Galloping: A Cultural Exhibition for the Year of the Horse." The exhibition opens on January 30 and features over 120 valuable cultural relics related to the horse and its significance in Chinese history and culture.
