BEIJING, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) — China strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in southwest Pakistan and reiterated its firm support for Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Tuesday.

The terrorist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has reportedly carried out attacks in several areas of Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan, causing casualties among both security personnel and civilians.

Asked to comment on the incident at a regular departmental press conference, Lin Jian stated that China strongly condemns these attacks. He also expressed deep sorrow for the victims and sincere condolences to the wounded and the families of the deceased.
