A high-altitude cold-season flower farm in Zhongying County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is entering its peak season for harvesting and delivering produce to the market. In the greenhouses of local flower companies, workers are busy picking, pruning, shaping, and packaging plants, ensuring an ample supply during the holiday season.
In recent years, Zhongning County, drawing on its unique, cool high-altitude climate and favorable natural conditions, has been actively developing its flower industry. Leading companies in the industry have been successfully attracted to the region. The county's flower and seedling planting area exceeds 4,000 mu (15 mu = 1 hectare), and its annual production has exceeded 400 million yuan. Floriculture is gradually becoming a key industry, contributing to rural revitalization.
