Zhang Bo, a 28-year-old sugar master from Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, has been fascinated with this art since childhood. His in-depth studies over more than a decade have allowed him to transition from decorating hotel dishes to artistic expression.

Seeking to move beyond traditional decorative forms, he studied anatomy on his own: observing skeletal models and dissecting chicken wings to study muscle structure. He integrated these observations into his work, developing his own unique artistic style.

"I want as many people as possible to see the unique charm of sugar art and to revitalize this ancient craft," says Zhang Bo. In the future, he plans to experiment with different themes, incorporate elements of traditional culture, and continue exploring the boundless possibilities of sugar art as an independent art form.
