Tashkent, January 31 /Xinhua/ – From January 27 to 31, a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by member of the Central Committee (CC) of the CPC, President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Gao Xiang paid a visit to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

During the visit, opening ceremonies for bookstores dedicated to the works of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping were held. Gao Xiang also held presentations in both countries on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Meetings were held with Speaker of the Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan Arslan Koichiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safoyev, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Rakhim Khakimov, and Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development Sardor Umurzakov.

Representatives of both countries highly praised the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and expressed their willingness to deepen the exchange of experience in public administration, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for humanity. –0–
