Caracas, January 29 (Xinhua) — Venezuela is immediately reopening its commercial airspace, the country's presidential office announced Thursday.
The agency noted that commercial airspace is opening following a telephone conversation between Acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez and US President Donald Trump.
American Airlines said Thursday it plans to resume air service to Venezuela, pending U.S. government approval and completion of a safety assessment.
