BEIJING, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) — Wang Yong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), on Thursday called on Chinese and U.S. business circles to deepen practical cooperation and jointly promote the sustainable and long-term development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations.

Wang Yong made the call at the annual thanksgiving banquet of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China), which was held in Beijing.

As the Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee noted, in 2025, China and the United States, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, conducted constructive dialogue and interaction, which brought stability to bilateral relations.

Wang Yong stated that China will steadily deepen reforms, expand opening-up, and promote innovation. He also stated that China will continuously unleash growth momentum through high-quality development, which will provide ample scope for businesses from all countries, including the United States.

The event was attended by about 400 representatives of political and business circles from China and the United States. –0–
