Indexed benefits include monthly cash payments received by veterans of the Great Patriotic War and military operations, Chernobyl victims, Heroes of Russia, Heroes of Labor, and people with disabilities of all three groups.
The monthly compensation payment for caring for children with disabilities and disabled persons from childhood of group I, as well as a number of other payments to families with children, have also been indexed.

Thus, the one-time benefit for the birth of a child will increase to almost 28.5 thousand rubles, and cash payments to women awarded the title of "Mother Heroine" will increase to 76.5 thousand rubles.
The amount of maternity capital will also increase: to almost 729,000 rubles for the first child, and to 963,200 rubles for the second and subsequent children. If a family has already spent part of their maternity capital, only the remaining amount will be indexed.
Russia has a uniform procedure for indexing social benefits that are not tied to the subsistence minimum. These benefits are indexed once a year, starting on February 1, based on the actual consumer price index for the previous year.
