BEIJING, January 28 (Xinhua) — The 2026 annual meeting of Chinese-Russian entrepreneurs (Jilin) was held in Beijing on Monday. More than 100 representatives from Russian organizations, enterprises, and associations operating in China, as well as from a number of Chinese government agencies and enterprises, attended, according to the Jilin Daily newspaper.
The event reviewed the profound traditional friendship between China and Russia, presented the fruitful results of promoting cooperation between Jilin Province (Northeast China) and Russia, and proposed building four bridges of people-to-people contacts, practical cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and youth friendship to further unlock the potential of cooperation in modern agriculture, green energy, equipment manufacturing, and other fields.
Participants of the event held an in-depth exchange of views on issues of trade and economic cooperation, international logistics, and humanitarian exchanges, reaching a number of agreements on cooperation.
The annual meeting gave new impetus to practical cooperation between Jilin Province and the Russian Far East, the newspaper notes.
The event was jointly organized by the Jilin Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Jilin Northeast Asia Railway Group Co., Ltd.
