In Moscow, Building No. 7 of the Institute of Experimental Cardiology at the E.I. Chazov National Medical Research Center of Cardiology of the Russian Ministry of Health has been reopened after reconstruction. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced this.

"Improving the level of medical care depends, among other things, on modern infrastructure. Renovated hospitals and clinics, equipped with the latest equipment, allow for more accurate diagnostics and effective treatment. Equally important, such conditions attract the best talent and create a comfortable work environment. All these measures are aimed at ensuring that every citizen can receive the care they need. For example, the renovated building of the Institute of Experimental Cardiology in Moscow now houses modern scientific and practical laboratories, research offices, classrooms, and other facilities. Work on the facility was carried out under the supervision of the Unified Customer (Single Customer) control center. A permit for commissioning has now been received," said Marat Khusnullin.

The renovation of the building and the modern scientific equipment installed in it will provide the conditions for the development of a high-tech scientific base.

"The facility's modernization was carried out as part of the register of capital construction projects, part of the comprehensive state program 'Construction,' overseen by the Russian Ministry of Construction. The completed work allowed us to preserve and visually update the existing appearance of the building, designed and constructed in the 1980s. Furthermore, the institute will now have the capacity to develop and produce innovative domestic pharmaceuticals and diagnostic test systems for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases," noted Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Yuri Gordeyev.

Thanks to the reconstruction, building No. 7 has created comfortable conditions for conducting modern research, developing new scientific directions, and technically re-equipping the institute.

"A large-scale renovation of the medical facility, covering over 15,000 square meters, was carried out to bring the building up to modern sanitary, fire safety, and other standards. This will significantly improve its operational characteristics. During the renovation, the builders also replaced the doors and balcony railings, stained-glass windows, windows, and elevators. They also repaired the staircases and completed the finishing of the rooms and walls without changing the façade or interior design. Furthermore, the building was equipped with new scientific equipment," said Karen Oganesyan, General Director of the Unified Customer Production and Consulting Company.
