BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) — China's State Council on Tuesday announced the dismissal of Zeng Guowei (Erick Tsang Kwok-wai) from his post as Director-General of the Constitutional Order and Homeland Affairs Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
This decision was made in accordance with the provisions of the Basic Law of the PRC on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and at the proposal of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, the State Council of the PRC reported.
