BERLIN, January 25 (Xinhua) — Five people were injured in a shooting that occurred Sunday in a residential building in central Berlin, the German newspaper Bild reported.
According to the German news agency DPA, the incident occurred around 5:00 PM local time in the Tiergarten district of the German capital. As Bild reported, five people were found injured in the apartment, two of whom were believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police reportedly detained several suspects at the scene. An investigation is underway.
