Moscow, January 24 /Xinhua/ — The leaders in online new car sales in Russia in 2025 have been announced: Lada, Haval, and Chery. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing data from the SberAuto service.
As noted, Russian-made Lada cars accounted for slightly less than half of all online new car sales on the SberAuto service in 2025, followed by Chinese brands: Haval (6.5%), Chery (6%), Geely (5%), and Omoda (3.5%). The median purchase price for a new car online last year was 1.6 million rubles.
The top three models are Lada Granta, Vesta and Niva, with Omoda C5 and Haval Jolion also making it into the top five.
According to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as trucks and buses in Russia by the end of 2025 amounted to 1.496 million units, which is 19 percent less than the previous year's figure. –0–
