Minsk, January 24 (Xinhua) — In Belarus, organizations of all types of ownership built 50,200 new apartments in 2025. In total, more than 4.5 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the country. The corresponding information was published by the Belarusian National Statistical Committee (Belstat) on Friday.
More than 1.49 million square meters of housing, or 32.6 percent of the total housing capacity in Belarus, have been commissioned for Belarusian citizens registered as needing improved housing conditions.
Of the total volume of housing commissioned, more than 810 thousand square meters have been built for citizens registered as needing improved housing conditions using state support.
More than 1.64 million square meters of housing, or 36 percent of the total housing commissioned in the country, have been commissioned in rural areas. –0–
