BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) — Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, on Friday called on leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial levels to make every effort to advance economic and social development work this year and ensure a solid start to the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
Cai Qi made the call at the closing ceremony of a seminar on studying and implementing the spirit of the decisions of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, organized for leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial levels at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Administration Academy).
Recalling the important speech delivered by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of these seminars, Cai Qi called on officials to maintain strategic resolve, strengthen confidence in inevitable victory, actively assume responsibility, and strive to turn the grand plan into reality.
During the classes, all students linked theory with practice and held in-depth discussions, strengthening their understanding and appreciation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
