BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) — In the current turbulent international environment, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and the United Kingdom, both permanent members of the UN Security Council, serves the interests of both countries and the world, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday.
The Chinese diplomat made this statement at a regular departmental press conference, answering a question about next steps in the framework of high-level contacts between China and the UK.
