WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the United States has sent "significant" naval forces to Iran amid ongoing tensions over unrest in Iran.
"There are a lot of ships heading in that direction, a large fleet. We'll see what happens," Donald Trump told reporters aboard his plane en route from Davos, Switzerland, where he attended the World Economic Forum.
"We have an armada. We have a huge fleet moving in that direction, and we may not have to use it. We'll see," the American leader added.
