Bishkek, January 23 /Xinhua/ — Almost 21 million foreigners entered Kyrgyzstan in 2025, significantly more than the figures for 2024 and 2023, the press service of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported on Friday.
In 2025, 20,978,965 foreign citizens entered the country, which is 18.6 percent and 20 percent more than in 2024 and 2023, respectively.
“The sharp increase in inbound tourism in 2025 is due to the development of tourism infrastructure, the expansion of international routes, the active promotion of the country's natural and cultural potential, and the growth of business and investment contacts,” the agency said in a statement.
