Systematic support for agricultural enterprises remains a priority for the Government. In 2026, an additional 26.5 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for the implementation of the preferential lending program for farmers. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the corresponding order.

Among the purposes for which federal funding is allocated is subsidizing loans to farmers for seasonal fieldwork, including the purchase of fuel, seeds, and mineral fertilizers for the sowing campaign. Federal funds will also be used to support preferential loan rates for dairy farmers.
“We hope that such state support will improve the sustainability of farms and enable them to meet food security objectives in terms of milk and dairy products, as well as continue to harvest good crops,” Mikhail Mishustin noted, commenting on the decision taken atGovernment meeting on January 22.
Taking into account the allocated funds, the total volume of subsidized preferential loans for farmers from the federal budget will amount to 150.1 billion rubles.
The work is being carried out within the framework of the state program for the development of agriculture.
