Vladivostok, January 22 (Xinhua) — Two people were killed and five others injured in a road accident involving a tourist bus and a truck in Russia's Primorye region, the regional prosecutor's office reported.

Earlier, the Primorsky Krai Ministry of Health reported a major accident involving a bus and a truck on the highway near Barabash in the Khasansky District. According to preliminary information, the bus carrying tourists was traveling from China. The number of injured is being determined.

“There were 14 people on the bus in total, two of whom died and five were injured; they are receiving medical assistance,” the statement said.
