In 2025, in the south of the capital, specialists Moscow City Services Complex We carried out modernization and expansion of the outdoor lighting system. The largest volume of work was completed in the districts of Biryulevo Zapadnoye (74 poles and 95 luminaires were installed), Biryulevo Vostochnoye (60 poles and 66 luminaires), and Brateevo (52 poles and 70 luminaires).
"The project's technological foundation is modern energy-efficient LED luminaires. They feature reduced energy consumption compared to outdated alternatives, reducing the load on electrical networks and ensuring instant activation and stable operation," said Evgeny Nesterov, Head of Outdoor Lighting Construction and Reconstruction at United Energy Company.
For example, in the Biryulyovo Vostochnoye district, new lighting was installed on Mikhnevskaya Street. Twelve poles and the same number of lamps were installed along Building 19, Block 2. This ensured uniform illumination of the surrounding area, including parking areas, a children's playground, and exercise equipment.
A significant result was the creation of a fully illuminated and safe pedestrian route from the residential building to School No. 947, which helped eliminate problems that had previously arisen during the autumn and winter period.
A systematic approach to lighting was also applied to the courtyard of Building 7, Block 1 on Mikhnevskaya Street. Ten poles and 12 luminaires were installed, providing the required level of illumination for pedestrian walkways, entrances, the outdoor exercise area, and the parking lot.
When landscaping the courtyard of Building 13, Block 1, lighting solutions were integrated into the existing landscape. Seven lighting points were added to the pedestrian paths and playground, enhancing the safety and functionality of the spaces.
In Biryulyovo Zapadny, near Building 23, Block 3 on Vostryakovsky Proyezd, six poles with 12 light fixtures provide illumination for the skating rink. The directed light beam completely covers the ice surface, allowing for training and recreational games in the evening. The rink has received a modern look and has become a popular spot among local residents.
Lighting fixtures installed on modern poles create a cohesive and sustainable environment that ensures safety at night and improves comfort for residents. Modernizing street lighting contributes to the development of high-quality, modern urban infrastructure.
