In 2025, specialists urban economy complex Nineteen gas regulation stations (GRPs) have been built and modernized. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing, Utilities, and Public Works. Petr Biryukov.

"The city is systematically upgrading gas pressure control stations, which are responsible for reducing gas pressure to specified levels and maintaining it within predetermined limits. Last year alone, 17 such facilities were modernized and two were built, ensuring high-quality gas supply to consumers and reducing network wear," noted Pyotr Biryukov.

During the renovation, obsolete equipment was replaced with modern cabinet-type gas distribution stations. These take up less space thanks to optimized placement of various devices and offer higher throughput. Where cabinet-type stations were originally installed, they were replaced with new ones that meet modern requirements and standards.

The installed gas distribution stations were manufactured in-house by Mosgaz JSC. They are reliable and feature reduced noise levels.

The work was completed within a tight deadline and without any service interruptions. Additionally, specialists upgraded the supply gas pipelines.

All gas pressure control stations in the capital are required to be equipped with shut-off devices. Their operating parameters are monitored 24/7 from the central control room of JSC Mosgaz.
