BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) — Wang Huning, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with Pakistani National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Beijing on Tuesday.
Wang Huning noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. China stands ready to work with Pakistan to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, promote the deepening and strengthening of the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, and accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.
The CPPCC National Committee is ready to make a positive contribution to achieving these goals, Wang Huning said.
S.A. Sadiq noted that Pakistan firmly adheres to the one-China principle and actively supports the four global initiatives put forward by China.
