Beijing, January 20 (Xinhua) — In 2025, 4,867 China-Europe international freight trains passed through Manzhouli Port in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, carrying 506,000 TEUs (equivalent unit) of cargo. These figures increased by 11.2 percent and 8.6 percent year-on-year, respectively, the Neimenggu Ribao newspaper reported.

During the specified period, 2,977 China-Europe trains entered China through the Manzhouli checkpoint. This represents a 21% year-on-year increase.

In recent years, Manzhouli Port has taken more targeted measures to improve customs clearance efficiency, including a 24/7 cargo clearance system (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) by appointment, the implementation of a smart cargo logistics control platform, etc.

China-Europe freight train routes passing through the Manzhouli Port connect 60 Chinese cities with 13 foreign countries, including Russia, Poland, and Belgium.
