Yaounde, January 20 (Xinhua) — The Constitutional Council of the Central African Republic (CAR) on Monday announced the final results of the presidential elections held on December 28, 2025. Incumbent President Faustin-Archange Touadéra has again won the election.

F.-A. Touadéra, who received 77.90% of the vote, will begin a seven-year presidential term, the Constitutional Council announced at an official ceremony in the country's capital, Bangui.

Former Prime Ministers Anicet-Georges Dologeulé and Henri-Marie Dondra were also candidates in the presidential election. They placed second and third, respectively, according to preliminary results published by the country's electoral body, the National Electoral Commission.
