Prague, January 19 (Xinhua) — Two people, including the attacker, were killed and six others were wounded in a shooting that occurred on Monday in the northern Czech town of Chřibská, local police reported on the social media site X.
The incident occurred at the city hall building. According to law enforcement, the attacker was killed, and the building is currently safe.
"At this time, there are no indications of terrorist or extremist motives," the next police report in X noted. "Everything points to a motive related to personal relationships."
Police confirmed the deaths of two people—a man and the shooter himself. Of the six wounded, one woman is in serious condition.
