The application deadline for Season VIII has been extended to February 10, 2026. The holding has been collaborating with Innosocium for several years, since 2023 as a partner in the "Soul of Russia: Preserving Culture and Traditions" category. The awards ceremony for the winners of Season VIII will take place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June.

The competition accepts projects in seven categories: "Active Longevity," "Women's Leadership," "Wildlife Conservation and Protection of Rare Animal Species," "Inclusive Society," "Territorial Development," "The Soul of Russia: Preserving Culture and Traditions," and "The Environment: Environmental Innovations for the Future."

Innosocium is a nationwide student competition for social projects sponsored by the Roscongress Foundation, launched in 2019 to support young leaders. Its goal is to draw attention to pressing socially significant issues and their solutions, encourage talented students to work on social projects, develop the necessary skills, and disseminate effective social engineering practices among students. Promising projects are evaluated by the competition's expert council, which includes rectors and department heads from leading Russian universities, government officials, and business representatives.

The competition is supported by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Russian Ministry of Education, and the Roscongress Foundation, using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Grants Fund.
