Beijing, January 16 (Xinhua) — China's Long March-12B reusable launch vehicle successfully completed a static fire test on Friday afternoon, marking a major step toward its upcoming flight missions, its developer announced.

The test took place at the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone near the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

The Long March 12B, developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), is a next-generation reusable launch vehicle designed to support the deployment of low-orbit commercial satellite constellations. It is capable of launching 20 tons of payload into low-Earth orbit.
