Construction of a six-story building has been completed in Mariupol's Zhovtnevyi district. 84 apartments in the building will be provided as compensation to citizens who lost their homes during the fighting. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
"Restoring housing stock and constructing compensation apartment buildings in the reunited regions is an important social issue. We've been working on it since 2022, and to date, approximately 7,500 buildings have been restored and 75 have been built. Among them is a new six-story building with a total area of 7,700 square meters in the Zhovtnevyi district of Mariupol. It comprises 84 apartments in three sections. All will be handed over to residents with interior finishing, so they can settle in as quickly as possible," said Marat Khusnullin.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the construction of this building was carried out by the Single Customer in the Construction Sector public corporation.
"The new residential building features 14 one-bedroom apartments, 34 two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, and two four-bedroom apartments. Additionally, specialists have landscaped the surrounding area, creating convenient access and parking spaces, pedestrian paths, and children's playgrounds," noted Karen Oganesyan, General Director of Unified Customer.
