BEIJING, January 13 (Xinhua) — The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) International Logistics Park, located in Lianyungang, East China's Jiangsu Province, saw its cargo turnover reach nearly 84.36 million tons in 2025, up 13.52 percent year-on-year, the Zhongguo Xinwenshe news agency reported, citing data released Monday by Nanjing Customs.
Moreover, according to customs data, container turnover at this international logistics park reached 677,000 standard containers (twenty-foot equivalent units, TEU), which is 4.48 percent higher than in 2024. Thus, both cargo turnover and container turnover at this transport and logistics hub reached historically high levels.
Since its establishment in 2015, the SCO International Logistics Park (Lianyungang) has established a number of overseas warehouses in Central Asia, Southeast Asia and other regions, essentially forming a multimodal logistics and transportation system based on the “road-rail-river-sea” scheme.
The logistics park launched an international multimodal transport bill of lading platform in October 2025, providing comprehensive one-stop services covering intelligent chartering and electronic bill of lading issuance, giving new impetus to the development of logistics channels. -0-
