Support for privileged categories of citizens under the social gasification program will continue in 2026. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree amending the state program "Energy Development" accordingly.

As before, eligible program participants will receive a subsidy for the purchase of equipment and the work required to connect their homes to the gas grid. The subsidy will be at least 100,000 rubles.

This support is available to parents with many children and low-income individuals, participants in special military operations and their family members, disabled persons of Group I, as well as citizens caring for disabled children, and veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

A total of 1 billion rubles is planned to be allocated from the federal budget in 2026 to support beneficiaries of the social gasification program. The specific amount will be determined based on requests from regional authorities.

In 2025, approximately 1 billion rubles were allocated to support preferential categories of citizens in 55 regions.

The social gasification program has been implemented since 2021. Since February 2023, the state has been partially subsidizing the costs of installing gas on a property and connecting a home to gas for eligible citizens.
