Caracas, January 8 (Xinhua) — The US attack on Venezuela has killed 100 people, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello announced on Wednesday.
According to him, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were wounded during the American operation to forcibly capture them.
On state television, D. Cabello expressed his respect for President N. Maduro and his wife, as well as for those killed during the US military operation.
The minister also condemned the American military attack on the country as barbaric and cowardly, which had caused numerous innocent casualties.
He called the attack inhumane and said it was a truth that could not be hidden.
