Caracas, January 8 (Xinhua) — Venezuelan authorities will release a "significant number of Venezuelan and foreign citizens" from prison, National Assembly (parliament) President Jorge Rodriguez announced on Thursday.
According to J. Rodríguez, this government measure reflects its “unwavering commitment to ensuring peace in the Republic and promoting the peaceful coexistence of all people, regardless of political, religious, economic or social differences.”
