Taipei, January 6 (Xinhua) — A pilot allegedly ejected from an F-16V fighter jet in Taiwan at 7:29 p.m. local time on Tuesday during a routine training mission in Hualien County in the eastern part of the island, the Taiwanese Air Force reported that same day.
The pilot, surnamed Xin, was flying approximately 10 nautical miles east of Fengbin Township in Hualien County when he ejected.
