BEIJING, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) — No country can act as an international police force or claim to be an international judge, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Tuesday.
Mao Ning made this statement at a regular departmental press conference in response to a question about the situation in Venezuela.
According to her, China consistently advocates for all countries to respect the development paths independently chosen by the peoples of other countries, their compliance with international law, as well as the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, and that large countries should play a leading role in this direction.
