BEIJING, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping said Wednesday that China is willing to join hands with all countries to ensure peace and development.
In his New Year's address, Xi Jinping noted that China embraces the whole world with an open heart.
This year, China announced a new nationally determined contribution to respond to climate change, Xi Jinping said, adding that following the "three global initiatives," it put forward the Global Governance Initiative, which aims to build a more equitable and rational global governance system.
