BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) — Chinese leaders attended a traditional Chinese musical drama performance in Beijing on Tuesday evening to celebrate the New Year.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Party and state leaders, including Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi and Han Zheng, watched the performance together with representatives from various circles at the National Center for the Performing Arts.
The performance included excerpts from classical works and the best new productions, demonstrating the vibrant and diverse development of traditional Chinese musical drama. –0–
