Pyongyang, December 30 (Xinhua) — North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited a major defense industry facility on Sunday to inspect its weapons and military equipment production, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday.
It is noted that Kim Jong-un was informed about the production of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), which will be equipped with the main units of the Korean People's Army (KPA).
This MLRS will become the leading strike weapon of the DPRK army and will completely change the composition of the artillery forces, the country's leader stated.
