KUNMING, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) — A meeting of foreign ministers of China, Cambodia and Thailand was successfully held in Yuxi City, southwest China's Yunnan Province, on Monday.

Following the trilateral meeting, a press communiqué was issued, which stated in five points that Cambodia and Thailand would continue to intensify contacts, deepen mutual understanding, gradually strengthen the ceasefire, resume mutual exchanges, restore political trust, improve relations, and maintain peace in the region.

Following the signing of a joint ceasefire statement, the Cambodian and Thai foreign ministers will lead their delegations to meet in Yunnan Province on December 28-29 at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. -0-
